Portrait of a Yellow-throated marten

Description
In March 2023 I visited Eaglenest Wildlife Sanctuary to look for rare mammals. On one afternoon we approached a tree when suddenly a Yellow-throated marten (Martes flavigula) ran away from the tree. After we waited a litle while the marten came back to continue licking from the sap of the tree. This was a good opportunity to get some portraits of this beautiful species.
