Sneaking away like a Pallas' Cat does

Description
In March 2023 I visited the Tibetan Plateau in the province of Ladakh in India. That's when I saw this hunting Pallas' Cat (Otocolobus manul). The animal was so focused on the hunt that he allowed me to get close and take in a position while he continued hunting. Only after he failed to catch a rodent he noticed me and slinked away in the fashion that is typical for this species while also showing its typical chagrined expression.
