Sand Cat (Felis margarita) is a small cat adapted to living in the desert. Because of their low density it is not easy to find them, especially during the day. However this cat had adopted the strategy to rest in old raven's nests during the day. That's where I found it in January 2019 in the Western Sahara and was able to take this picture when the evening fell.
